Literary Work: Body of work

Prof C.T.D. obtained his BA, BA Honours, MA and PHD at UNISA. He also obtained a Diploma in Music from London School of Music. He worked as a Teacher, Principal and lecturer at UNISA until he retired. He went into politics where he became part of a commission under the leadership of the late President Nelson Mandela to create one Limpopo Government from the then Gazankulu, Lebowa and Venda governments and Transvaal Provincial Administration.

Prof CTD Marivate wrote many Xitsonga books and translated many books from English to Xitsonga.
